This little thing was further on from that area along a trail.<br /><br />It was totally a lucky find. Lucky you! There ar...That is absolutely gorgeous! Lucky you! There are several varieties of Lady's Slipper Orchids native to New York State, but they are rare and endangered. I have never seen one. They bloom in June and July. I'm never back in my woods then, because of the poison ivy.
