Happy Summer Everyone
Smooth-billed Ani, a member of the Cuckoo Family. They rather cleverly hunted for grasshoppers and crickets in the thatch set down for roof repairs. Very fun to watch.

ReplyDeleteI scrolled down to make sure I got the first Peru post to read it all, see all the pictures, and boy, was it worth it. Like you, I am very tasty to biting bugs, but I'd take that as part of the "price" to make the trip. It looks marvelous!
ReplyDeleteit was amazing. My skin still shows the marks but it does that at the least trauma. Thankfull that it did not itch too much.
