Grabbed an all day ticket which took me on a train journey south of the city. Hampton Court is most famously the home of Henry VIII.
A wealth of elaborate construction including chimneys which indicate many fireplaces. Tapestries all around every rooms walls.
Gardens and grounds including tennis courts still in use by exclusive members.
Far to many rooms for ones feet to bear.
Ramblings around Washington State. Natural wonders of my world. I am forever trying to learn. Strong caution, pictures of plants may include bugs, spiders and other "creepy" things. Natural history plants flowers bugs birds biologies. Geology weather conservation and gentle hikes.

WOW! Loved those chimneys!
ReplyDeleteIncredible palace.
In spite of its obvious age, it feels modern. I think it is the chimneys.
